HIGH TIDE MARKETING FREE MARKETING SERVICES CONTEST: OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. THIS IS A SKILL CONTEST. WINNERS ARE SELECTED BY JUDGING BASED ON THE CRITERIA BELOW, NOT BY CHANCE. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Sponsor
The contest is sponsored by High Tide Marketing LLC, 1305 Barnard St #770, Savannah, GA 31401 (“High Tide Marketing” or “Sponsor”). Questions: [email protected].
2. Contest Period
The contest begins at 12:00 AM ET on October 29, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on November 11, 2026 (the “Contest Period”). High Tide Marketing’s computer is the official clock. Applications received after the Contest Period will not be considered.
3. Eligibility
The contest is open to individuals who, at the time of entry: (a) are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia; (b) are at least 18 years old; and (c) are the owner or an authorized decision maker of a legally operating business with a physical location or defined service area in the United States (“Eligible Business”).
The following are not eligible: (a) businesses that operate solely through e-commerce; (b) current and former clients of High Tide Marketing; (c) employees, contractors, owners, and partners of High Tide Marketing, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) and household members.
High Tide Marketing reserves the right to determine eligibility in its sole discretion, including declining any applicant whose industry or business conflicts with High Tide Marketing’s existing contractual obligations.
4. How to Enter
Complete the online application at hightidemarketing.com/free-marketing-services during the Contest Period. All required fields must be completed. Limit one application per person and one application per business. Additional applications from the same person or business will be disqualified. Incomplete, false, or fraudulent applications will be disqualified.
5. Judging
After the Contest Period ends, all eligible applications will be reviewed and scored by a panel of at least two judges from Sponsor’s team. Applications will be scored on a 100 point scale using the following criteria:
Business Impact (40 points): how much a new website, search engine optimization, and Google Business Profile management would change the applicant’s business, based on the information provided.
Lead Follow Up Readiness (30 points): the applicant’s demonstrated ability and commitment to respond to and follow up on new leads.
Market Fit (30 points): whether the applicant’s market and industry are a fit for Sponsor’s services and are not already served by a Sponsor client.
In the event of a tie, the application with the highest Business Impact score wins. If still tied, the judges will rescore the tied applications on all criteria, and the highest rescore wins. No random selection will be used. Decisions of the judges are final and binding.
Sponsor reserves the right not to award the prize if no application meets a minimum standard of quality as determined by the judges.
6. Referrals
An applicant may name one person who referred them to the contest (“Referrer”) on their application. If that application is selected as the winner, the Referrer will receive the same prize described in Section 7, subject to these rules.
Referrals work both ways. If the Referrer’s own application is selected as the winner, the applicant who named them on the credited application (“Referred Applicant”) will also receive the same prize described in Section 7, subject to these rules. The Referred Applicant must have submitted a complete application during the Contest Period. A Referrer or Referred Applicant entitled to a prize under this Section 6 is a “Referral Partner.”
To receive a prize, a Referral Partner must: (a) meet all eligibility requirements in Section 3; (b) own or be an authorized decision maker of an Eligible Business that is separate from the winning business; and (c) complete all prize claim requirements in Section 9.
A person may not refer a business they own, co own, are employed by, or have a financial interest in. A person may be credited as Referrer on only one application. If a person is named as Referrer on more than one application, only the earliest submitted application naming them will be credited. Referring a business is optional and does not affect the judging of any application, including the referred application. If a Referral Partner is ineligible or fails to claim the prize, that referral prize will not be awarded and the winning applicant’s prize is not affected.
7. Prize
One (1) winning business and up to two (2) Referral Partners (the Referrer named on the winning application and the Referred Applicant credited to the winner, as described in Section 6) will each receive:
A custom website, including design, development, on page SEO, analytics and call/form tracking setup, and hosting, security, and maintenance for 12 months. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $12,000.
Twelve (12) months of search engine optimization services.
Twelve (12) months of Google Business Profile management for one (1) business location.
Combined ARV of SEO and Google Business Profile management: $18,000 ($1,500 per month).
Total ARV per prize: up to $30,000. Total ARV of all prizes: up to $90,000.
The specific scope, deliverables, and timelines of each prize will be set out in a Prize Services Agreement (see Section 9).
8. Prize Conditions
The prize has no cash value and is not transferable or exchangeable. No substitution by the winner. Sponsor may substitute services of equal or greater value.
Services must begin by January 31, 2027 or the prize is forfeited.
The prize does not include: domain registration, paid advertising spend, paid third party software or tools beyond those included in the scope, professional photography or video production unless specified, or services for additional business locations.
Winner is responsible for providing timely access to their domain, Google Business Profile, analytics, existing website, and content as required.
After the 12 month service period, the winner has no obligation to continue services. If the winner chooses to continue, Sponsor’s standard pricing applies.
Website ownership: upon completion of the 12 month service period, the winner will own the website design and all content Sponsor delivered, and Sponsor will assist with transfer. If services end before 12 months for any reason, ownership does not transfer. After transfer, the winner is responsible for hosting and maintenance. Transfer is subject to the export capabilities of the platform on which the site is built.
Sponsor does not guarantee any specific search ranking, traffic, lead volume, revenue, or business result.
